A beautiful sunset beach maternity shoot can only happen if and when you trust your maternity photographer in Cape Town. This couple was truly exceptional to work with because they trusted me with their vision. They wanted a beach shoot at sunset, and wanted the shoot to be romantic, majestic, intimate and show their love to each other before they entered the world of parent hood.
Recommending neutral tones in styling, whites and creams. Mom-to-be had her hair and make up professional done in order to feel her very best for her pregnancy shoot. Strand beach was the backdrop for this shoot and you see in the images how magical, and soft the ocean was on this day. We were worried about the wind, but the wind was more than gentle which created texture, movement and kept the couple beautifully cool.
Toward the end of their session I saw an opportunity to have them lay in the ocean waves breaking point and I they were more than willing to lay in the ocean and create extravagant images. The waves hit and they laughed, cuddled and creating a beautiful moment.
