Sweet baby boy was born just a few weeks early and a newborn at home photo shoot while they were in Cape Town was important for this family. Celebrating his entrance into the world and the first place that he called home.
He was one of the smallest newborn babies that I have photographed. Just over 2.1kg. His tiny features were adorable. Tiny nails, long fingers, long legs and the cutest head of hair with natural highlight were adorable.
He opened his eyes for a few minutes and then falling fast asleep for his session. I was grateful for his parents trusting me to move and maneuver him in a way that was gentle and comfortable for him. Having your baby comfortable during a newborn home photo shoot in Cape Town in number 1 priority for me.
