This year, Cape Town had the honour of hosting the SiGMA Africa conference at the Grandwest, one of the most exciting events in the online gaming world. As the official event photographer for SA Gaming, I had the incredible opportunity to capture the electric atmosphere at their stand, where networking, communication, and relationship-building came to life.
From the start, the event brought together minds from across the globe, all united by their passion for online gaming. The energy was palpable as professionals gathered to discuss, learn, and connect. The SA Gaming stand quickly became a hub of excitement, offering a variety of prizes and goodie bags. This created a vibrant, engaging space for attendees to interact and immerse themselves in the world of gaming.
Among many highlights, one moment stood out—the grand finale. To celebrate the success of the expo, the team released a massive confetti cannon. I had the privilege of capturing this colourful spectacle, which perfectly captured the spirit of the event.
As an event photographer in Cape Town, witnessing so many countries come together to celebrate the online gaming industry was magical. The connections made, conversations had, and relationships formed were a testament to the power of such events in shaping the future of the industry. This experience was not just a professional highlight, but a deeply personal one.
