Maternity Session are often the silent stories, what do I mean? Well when the baby arrives it is all about Baby and the birth story and the first poop story as well as the first time he or she did this and that - The stories of love and friendship of mom and dad seem to just fade into a distant memory.
Why have a maternity session? To remember the story that is uniquely yours. The pregnancy tummy that only belongs to this baby but most of all to celebrate and remember the love that started it all!
Chelsey and Dave story was one that truly touched me. While Chelsey was only 28 weeks pregnant, and maternity session are normally taken at 33 - 38 weeks, the reason for us doing the session so soon was to remember their life that was here at Kalk Bay. Chelsey and Dave have since moved to Port Elizabeth. Chelsey phoned me and said "We want to remember Kalk Bay and we want to remember US in Kalk Bay - All the special moments we had and all the special memories we hold dear will be in these photographs and we want to remember the life we created in this part of the world." Isnt that special?
So what is your story? Where are your special moments? How can I help you tell your story?
